D Team (Grades K-2)
The D Team is an instructional team that will focus on the basics of lacrosse. The program will introduce each player to the fundamental skills necessary to play lacrosse in a fun and safe environment. Basic rule instruction will be taught as well as the fundamentals of stick work, throwing, catching, etc. There are opportunities to play small-sided games within the league; however, competitive play will ultimately depend on the number of players in the program.
All D Team players must have a girls' lacrosse stick, eye protection and a mouth guard! Please ensure that all eye protection is SEI certified. Please check this link to learn more: USA Lacrosse Approved Eyewear List
D Team players will be required to purchase a jersey, but not a skirt.
Practices / Games
D Team players generally practice 2x / week for 1 hour each practice.
